Easter Egg Hunt — Twitch Extension · Last updated: March 18, 2026
Easter Egg Hunt is a Twitch overlay extension that lets viewers click on floating Easter eggs during a live stream to collect points and compete on a leaderboard.
We collect the minimum data needed to run the leaderboard:
We do not collect your email address, IP address, location, or any information beyond what is listed above.
Your data is used solely to:
We verify your identity using JSON Web Tokens (JWT) provided by Twitch. These tokens are checked on each request but are not stored by our service.
This extension does not use cookies, local storage, or any browser-based tracking mechanisms.
Score data is stored in Cloudflare KV, a key-value store operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Data persists until the broadcaster resets the leaderboard, at which point all scores for that channel are deleted. There is no automatic expiration — the broadcaster has full control over when data is cleared.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties. Your data is only used within the extension itself.
All communication between the extension and our backend is encrypted over HTTPS. Our backend service runs on Cloudflare Workers with JWT verification on every request.
This extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the extension operates within Twitch, users are subject to Twitch's own Terms of Service, which require users to be at least 13 years old.
You can stop participating at any time by simply not clicking eggs. If you want your score data removed, ask the channel's broadcaster to reset the leaderboard, or contact us directly and we will delete your data.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
